Trying to install T-Mobile Hotspot @Home. Having difficulty

Question

ok so I'm trying to install this service but when I connect my ethernet cable from my modem to the T-Mobile router and connect evertyhing else my computer doesn't connect to the internet and when I open internet explorer it says something about dial up connection and user name and password. ??

also i hear no dial tone on my phone and the phone light on the router isnt blue.

yes i registered and i just bought a phone compatible with the router (6.0 DECT)

help.
