Question:

Trying to install carseat w/ latch system, but have no latch system under the back seats?!

First time mom, having my baby SOOOOOOOOOON. We decided to install the carseat, but I don'thave a latch system thing installed in my backseat, I know nothing about the latch system on the carseat..other than how to install it, BUT we don't have the things in the back seat , like I've said. Help?! times running out. I have no idea.

  1. if your car does not have the isofix, you can fit the seat using the adult seat belt.

    check the instructions.

    they usually have the bottom bit of the adult belt going across the top of the space where baby's legs are.

    and the topp of the adult belt goes around the head end of the seat.

    the belt routes are usually made of red plastic, so they are easy to find

  3. If your car is 2002 or newer you have the attachment points built in by federal law if you are in the USA . On older vehicles you would use the seat belts with possibly a little metal clip to lock the top and bottom parts of the seat belt together. the clip should have come with your car seat some times they are fastened to the seat so they don't get lost. The belt should go through an opening in the seat that looks like a small tunnel. If you don't have the manual for your car seat try to find one on the manufacturers website.
