Trying to know if to buy horse. help please?

was injured on foot. x-ray okay now. but i not trust the man. x-ray of other horse? is not for racing, just daughter to learn.

  1. This is the horse racing section, there is a pet horse section that would be better for this question. Anyway, if you are making an investment in a horse you should have a vet examine the horse and review any x rays, perhaps take new x rays if you think the ones done aren't for the horse you are buying.


  2. Perhaps buy another horse from a trustworthy person?  Then purchase this one at a far lower price, to give the main horse a friend?

  3. Your daughter will understand that a healthy horse is a happier (and safer) one. Keep looking and get a sound uninjured animal. The money you will have to pay for feed tack and lessons is already costly, make the best investment in her joy and education by getting a good horse from a man that you feel is honest and worthy of striking a deal with you.

    She is a lucky young lady to have a father that cares to buy a nice horse for her to learn on!

    You need to feel good about the deal too, and if a man is not to be trusted do not give him anything. Try a family who's daughter is going back to college and must sell, ask to talk to the young miss also to understand the horse better and what kind of environment they kept it in.
