  1. mybe you could be lookin for......mantis kung fu or  american kenpo

  2. dont listen to that guy talking about picking street fights that doesnt make you a fighter look at kimbo. for strength training and fighting styles i say use one of the three main striking techniques. Boxing, kickboxing and muay thai. i conisder muay thai to be the best but you will tone more then gain as far as muscles go.

  3. Try Jiu-jitsu :)***

  4. Haha, you need to stick to that traditional boxing skills, and HEY its free. Just go to the streets and look at people all mad and someone will eventually say, "what you looking at?" then say ,"WAT!?!" there's your first lesson......

  5. try tae kwon do, i really dont know enough about you soz. i dont know if you are really sporty or really lazy. Taekwon do requires a lot of stretching.

  6. It depends on the teacher, it could be a McDojo and some terd burglar just showing you forms he learned in a book or got his black belt when he was six. Kyokushin Karate is Legit as they Generally keep it hard. Shotokan is good but I think is being Exploited, I wouldn't trust Tae Kwon Do not becasue of the art but becasue of its wodespread misuse, and abuse. Kung Fu is really cool looking if you find a good instructor and I like it the best as fat as the forms, they look cool. Besdies that they are Legit fighting styles and you should probably stick with the five original Shaolin forms. I am 19 and 155 at 5'7" , I am not that wise but wiser than I was at 15 . I can tell you this, Iused to wnat to be a badass and was always talking about how Bruce Lee was so great and Masutatsu Oyama and Musahsi were awesome, but really all I wnat is love from god and my girl. To do this I don't have to be anything special but a good hearted loving person and trust in Christ. I do however don't want to be lazy and couldn't forgive myself If I failed to protect someone I loved becasue i was lazy and weak my whle life. Having said all this, what makes a great fighter isn't necesarrily a style its the dedication you put into it. To be truly strong, explosive, fast , accurate and enduring takes very, very hard effort and long hours of trainiing, also you have to keep a constant sate of awareness known as Zanshin in the Warrior culture of Japan. They cultivate it and think its top stuff but really its being an animal ,always on the alert like a tiger in the wild. We don't have to be like this and opeace is our ultimate (or should be) goal. Ok so anyways, to be strong fro martial arts go here:http://rosstraining.com/, don't fall victim to paralysis by analysis and just get the manuals and do the workouts. I have already spent too mcuh money so please just start and end your search for training with Ross, also add sled drags and wheel barrow pushes, and fireman carries with your sandbag. Besides that practise the very bascics and get them so fast and accurate that thats all you will ever need, no need to watse ypur time learning a million differant moves, if you train for marathons, and powerlifting, and sprinting and rock climbing all at once you will be crappy at all of them. Same applies with martial arts, you cant do a million punches and blocks, hack away the unessential and make your jab so fast no one can block it and your side and round kicks so hard and fast they cripple. Other than all of this, jsut get strong and trust in Christ and love. Juts think if you were the baddest dude on the planet, had a wife but didn't love ehr how would you feel, liiek an angry monster who had to do intense workouts all the time becasue everyone else in the world wnated to kick your *** because you were the man to beat and you would go home without love becasue you couldn't tell who really loved you and who didn't so chose the wrong wife and she was just a gold digger. Being a champiopn doesn't equal happiness. Maybe it can but its not a guarantee. Other than being a champion to just defend your self you only need to be very sytrong and fast and know the besics better than most, avoid confrontation and be peacefull.Later.

  7. Try Ju-jitsu! It is a very interesting martial art that has a good balance between using weapons and normal fighting. If you want to learn how to throw someone twice your size and properly use a katana, why not give it a try?
