Yahoo is 99% of all problems.  Try another site.

It may be an ISP issue.  You should check on that first.

Try a trick I use.   log on to your yahoo email or answers 1st then click on chess.being prelogged in helps. Also if you have not updated chess program that may be a problem.

Yahoo updated chess you now need the new version.But you have to remove the old one 1st.

normal clearing of cache does not remove game demos.

click start button,,search, type in yahoo chess. When file comes up, right click on it then click remove. Next trip to chess it will prompt you to download the new demo of yahoo's newest version of chess.

If you use AOL server let me know! They have a habit of Disconnecting people playing games, (think they are idle)    I know a way to fix that.
