I'm trying to search for a name that means a changed person or a new person, something that means that the old person si gone and is a new person instead. I think it's somewhat biblical. Maybe a name that means metamorphosis.

Thanks

  1. Maybe this:

    PHOENIX

    Gender: Masculine & Feminine

    Usage: English (Modern)

    Pronounced: FEE-niks   [key]

From the name of a beautiful immortal bird which appears in Egyptian and Greek mythology. After living for several centuries in the Arabian desert, it would be consumed by fire and rise from its own ashes, with this cycle repeating every 500 years. The name of the bird was derived from Greek φοινιξ (phoinix) meaning "dark red".

  2. For boys consider the following names:

---Neander (as in Neanderthal): new (Neville means "new house").

    ---Servas: to redeem

    ---McKenna: to ascend

    ---Genesis: beginning

    ---Rene: rebirth

For girls, the following names all mean "beginning":  Aurora, Dawn, Roxanna, Zora; Rachana means "creation", and Nova means "new".

McKenna sounds enough like a Unisex name to be used for either boys or girls.
