Trying to plan a b-day when school out?

i'm trying to plan my birthday party but it's in aug and school will be out and i need to how to plan it i dunno know if shouldn't have party at all because my b-day is when school out and I don't even know people will even show up cause of vacation time and i want this party to happen it's only jan. but need to start planning now i just really need some help when to give out invites or people will even remember all i know is that if it was june and somebody gave me an invite to there party and its only 2 months away i'd forget about it! i need helpppppppp

You could send out invitations either through e-mail or get their address to send it through the postal service.  You got plenty of time to plan something really cool.  You could work in a flier about what all is going to be at the party to get people excited about wanting to come.  Have a great birthday party though!

Hi, that is always a bummer when your birthday is in the summer.  How about giving out a "Save the Date" card (they use these for weddings) just before school gets out.  Make sure that you have their address and phone #'s.  Then send the invitation 2 weeks before the party, asking for RSVP and give your phone #.  If they haven't RSVP'd by three days before the party, give them a call!  Hope this helps
