Trying to plan my R&R, where should I go?

I deploy in a little over a month to Iraq so I'll be getting R&R leave sometime in 2009, and am trying to plan where I should take it so I can start planning before we go over. I am thinking about paying to take my mom and grandma or just my mom. I personally wouldn't mind going somewhere overseas (I really want to go to Aussie) but I'm not sure if my mom would be wiling to go get a passport?

Where are some ideas to take my R&R leave in the USA in case she doesn't want to get a passport? Also outside of the USA so perhaps if she wants to go I can get her to get a passport?
