Trying to play yahoo chess it says i have a full or stale cache, what the F*k is a cache?

Cache is what they blame for there error.  Someone will tell you how to clear your cache, but that may or may not help.

As you have discovered, Yahoo sucks.

In terms of the web, it's where your browser saves a local copy of a page (or an image) so that it doesn't have to get it from the site's server. Try clearing your browser's cache, or just reloading the game page.

Yahoo’s new updates to games has caused a lot of game demo’s to be “damaged” click on TOOLS , internet options, general tab, temp files, settings, view objects. Delete the game you are having problems with. It will reload next time you visit the site. Then log on to yahoo mail or answers, Before you click on games. Being pre-logged in seems to make things go better and faster
