I tried to play that thing i finaly gave up get a hundred questions about it its just a pain in the--well you get the idea

you need to set your pop up blocker so that it accepts yahoo..also, you will need to download java..it will allow you to play virtually any game online..i wasn't able to get into yahoo pool either, then when i did all of this, i was in there in no time :)
