Trying to promote my website?

Question

I have a website with travel pictures (islandphoto.ca), trying to add it to various directories to increase the traffic. It's already in google's index and yahoo directory, I've also tried dmoz (and failed miserably as they just ignore my requests) and ayelink.com. Any other directories I should try? has to be free. Thanks.

I'd work with some social media sites and a little less on the directories.
