Trying to quit playing runescape?

Question

I want to try and quit runescape cause it's just wasting my time, but I'm having a hard time because I have nothing else to do besides runescape, what are some good ideas to quiting?

give your user name and password to some kid at school who wants it, without doubt they will change the password and revovery question and within two weeks you cant get on even if you wanted to, a perfect way to quit.

You may have to quit cold turkey. At the very least, try finding a different game to play or something. A good game is Fallen Sword. It's got the same general theme, but you have a limited amount of play because you have limited stamina. I'm not going to get into explaining it, try it out yourself, it's fun!

just do other stuff other than go on da comp. read, watch tv, join clubs at school. or find something u like doing and do it more often.

Try doing something else but then when you're doing that thing to keep you distracted from playin' Runescape you want to play Runescape again. I know it's tough just try hard.

I quit a while back and only go back for holiday stuff. But here's what I did:

All of my friends starting quiting too so that gave me a little motivation.



It was also distracting me from school so I had to quit.

I also had other interests in things and eventually forgot all about it.

Play something else.

You could sign up for www.kongregate.com and waste time going for the achievements for games that have them.

Read a book.

Write a story.

Write a song.

Learn an instrument.

Hang with friends.

Go to the movies.

etc. etc.

Play another game then if you're tired of one... If you have nothing to do then it's not really wasting your time...

smoke.....naw just kididn dont do that. Do yu have a console? i got a ps3 and its made me hooked ever since. I had a hard time quitting runescape then i finaly decided to have a LIFE...hang out with ur frends outside go places and quit that stupid game..

i was addicted to Ragnarok Online before. i quit it when i flunked a subject >_>

i managed to stay out of it when i just thought of all the bad things that it has given my life. it wasted my money, time, exercise days and sleeping hours. SPECIALLY my study time.

just think of the bad things it gave you and how it made you miserable.

if those don't work, go watch a series that would make sure you would catch every now and then.
