I have a compaq presario 6410nx PC. I'm trying to do a full system recovery, but can't get into the BIOS setup program at startup. The instruction manual says to press F1 when I see the black compaq logo screen at startup but there isn't one at all, the first thing that appears is the windows XP home edition loading screen with the green bars (F1 - F10 has no effect here). And then my desktop appears after that. I remember when I reformatted it last time, there was actually a black compaq logo screen first thing at startup but now it just vanished. I don't have a clue how to get into the BIOS setup now to use my system recovery disks. If there is another way to do a full system recovery or getting the logo screen back, please reply!!!
