Trying to remember a knot...need help

Question

I'm trying to remember a knot that is used in tree climbing. I can't remember the name but the more you pull the tighter it gets. Supposed to be a real effective knot. Can anyone help?

figue eights are great... just google knots and they'll show you a few really good ones for climbing and all that jazz. =]
