You would have a piece of paper with dots. Each person would take a turn connecting one dot to another. Once a square was made you would mark with your initial and the one with the most boxes would win. I can't remember all the rules and would like to play with my little ones.

  1. Jtakajr descibed "Boxes" perfectly. The rules of the game can be found in any compendium of public domain games such as "The Way to Play" by Diagram Group.

  2. The game board can be set up with any amount of dots, make sure it is even (like 20x20) each player gets a turn to draw their line any were on the board, when a player closes a box, they put there initials in the box.. then then go again...

    Let me clear it up:

-Even Number of Dots (20x20 40x30 60x40) something like that

-Each player can put a line ANY WERE on the board..

-ONE line per turn - Unless they close a box they go again..

-The player with the most boxes with there initials wins!

I love this game, have fun!
