I was wondering if there were any laws against parking a car for sale in a retail store parking lot without asking a manager?

  1. Can I park my car in your driveway and put it up for sale without your permission?  No...  Target's parking lot is their own private property, you have to ask for permission to do that, otherwise they can have your vehicle impounded at your expense.

  2. They are entitled to tow it if it is on their property, even if you ask the manager they probably won't let you.

  3. Yes.  Anything left there for a certain amount of time can and most likely will be towed.  Talk to the store manager.

  4. i would not put it in target due to it being stolen . try a family members driveway or yard.

  5. In addition to everyone else being correct about Target being able to tow your car...what you are attempting to do is actually against the law.  Put an add in the paper and on craigslist.com - your car will sell.

  6. You can try it, but they can have you towed.

  7. Not going to happen all those big box stores hire security for out side patrol  they get one look at the for sale sign in the window and your car it towed

  8. The manager can have your car towed if you leave in in the parking lot.  Most of the time a manager will give you permission.
