Trying to sleep (HELP)

i have been trying to sleep a little pit early see i have been going to sleep like 3to 4 in the morning and i have school soon and i am so tired and i have been doing every thing so if you can plz plz plz help me

  1. try not to sleep in the day or spend unnecessary time in your bed as then your brain won't associate it with sleep. also, try doing some gentle exercise or dancing or something a little while before you go to bed so as to tire yourself out. also, try waking up at the same time each day to get into a routine.

  3. same here. but i have been waking up a little earlier every day and listen to music at night(death cab for cutie). it makes me tired listening to it. or try chamamille(sp?)

    try waking up ealier like go to bed at the same time and then set your alarm earlier in the morning so your more tired and more likely to fall asleep early.

    if your having trouble going to sleep at night.

    set your tv to a station that does not come in so that it makes that loud fuzzy noise then focus on the sound.it often can put you to sleep.

    because it sounds like rain.

    or you can buy one of the clocks that have the rain/rainforest/ocean sounds. and they can put you to sleep.

    if your tv does not make that sound when you turn it to a channel you dont have if you have a raidio turn it to a station where it is just static.but put the volume on low and just focus on that.

    i no it may sound rediculous.but it really helps.

    or turn your radio to like opera music.it bores me so it makes me fall asleep really fast :)

  5. Set your routine up now.  Go to bed at same time. Lets say  11 Setting your alarm at whatever time you usually wake up for school. When the alarm goes off, get up no matter what time you fell asleep. Do not take a nap during the day.  Then go to bed  that night when you are ready. I bet you will be ready before 11 if you have not slept that much the night before.

    Try kava tea( you can get at whole foods) cherry tart concentrate also helps you get sleepy

  6. Get outdoor physical exercise during the day and take something at night temporarily such as unisom succinate or benadryl.  Ambien is a mixed bag and shouldn't be used unless it's absolutely necessary.

  7. Try diphenhydramine (generic Benadryl) or Melatonin (an herbal supplement).  Don't bother with Tylenol PM, it's just Benadryl and Tylenol together and if you aren't in pain there's no need for the Tylenol.

  8. melatonin!!!! its natural and it works! take two of the 5mg.

    my psychologist and therapist told me to take it and it knocks me out in 20 minutes.
