Trying to think of an invention this summer?

My stepdad had a new invention he's trying to get patented right now, and my mom has one that she's sending in. I really want to think of a good invention this summer. I'm really creative, but I just can't think of anything. I'm trying to think of something small but convenient that would be really popular. How can I get some ideas?

I had this idea that I WILL NEVER ever do. It's a bigger nailpolish brush so you can paint your whole nail instead of half at a time. ;) Good luck!

I guess you could just go through your day and think, "Hmmm, how can I make this more efficient or easier?"
