I had a book when I was about 11 or 12 (so thats 1998/1999), it was passed to me by my sister, and she can't of had it more than maybe ten years. The cover was quite 80's style and it was a paperback with maybe 600 pages or so. It was called something like Girl Talk or Girl Chat. It was an american book written by a woman, and it was basically a teenage girls guide to everything. It had everything from what to do when your period starts to how to earn money. It had things like 'when do you need to wear a bra' and 'how to kiss a boy' and even weird stuff like 'how to speak politely to your friends parents'. It was very eighties, like a guide for christian american pre-pubescent girls. Does ANYONE know the name of this book or the author or remember it at all so I can try to track it down?????

  1. Oh my goodness!  I had that book.  It's called Girl Talk and it was by Carol Weston.  I guess they came out with newer versions as well, because if I recall the one I had was newer (2004 I think?).  Try Amazon.com to track it down, I'm sure they'll have it.
