  1. Probably the harest thing to understand is why good happens to some and misfortune to others. We had a 25month old boy murdered last weekend he was brought to a place I work for exams. The only thing I know for sure is the little one is in heaven, the other ones turned their lives over to Christ they will see each other in heaven again! The great test in this life is to love others no matter what is done to you. Remember the Amish girls that were killed by a gunman? Within the hour they went to the killers family to try to console them! They forgave him on the spot. God sees what happens the way we respont to what happens is life it is the test.of life. The only way you can know Gods plan for your life is through Jesus Christ who died for alls sins past present and future.

  2. Honey, God would not do that. I used to think he would...but I found out that my perception of God was really perverted because of my perverted understanding of what a Father was. (I'd been comparing my earthly father to my heavenly Father). You don't give enough info...but God is a loving God...who loves us equally.

  3. Do we not all as human beings love different folks differently?  Our family, close friends, spouses, etc.  All these folks experience a different form of love from us as "significant others" in our lives.  Does that mean that God doesn't love in degrees?  Probably not...though assuming that there is a God for a moment it would stand to reason that he/she/it would not allow for what you speak of to happen because in order for he/she/it to LOVE fully and equally bless everyone he/she/it would have to not allow such destruction to occur.  PEACE!

  4. God does not do evil. Sin does evil. God will, however, use evil things to the good of His children.

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."

  5. You will NEVER be able to figure things out> i just lear from Him and listen to Him. God is good and He does everything right. he sees the whole picture.

Just do not try and figure it all out, but love Him because it is well worth your time and effort.

  6. good question.

  7. God can bless me without cursing you.

However at times God has done things like bless Isreal with the promised land while judging the pagans in the land who sacrificed their children to devils.

  8. Wow...are you speaking from experience?

I would guess that God would not have to destroy one life to bless another...but that might be a way we interpret a tragic accident (It's for the greater good, ect).

  9. See, I think that's where people are blaming God for things God just isn't bothering with.

It's like when the Colts win the superbowl and Peyton thanks God for the win.  Does that mean God is a Colts fan and hates the other team?

In life, there are often no win situations, but I don't think it's God taking sides.  Aristotle in his essay Poetics says that tragedy isn't a conflict between good and evil, it's a conflict between two goods.   Is God deciding which is the greater good?  Maybe, but I don't think so.  I also think that getting your heart's desire may not be the blessing people think it is.  There is an old chinese curse that says, "May you get exactly what you wish for."

  10. If it doesent glorify God its not of God, that leaves only one other option

    tGod bless

  11. No one took Jesus' life. He freely gave it. All Jesus would of had to do is call out and 2000 Angels would have instantly been there to destroy everyone that had touched him.

Jesus gave his own life that we could be saved from eternal destruction, have access to healing, and deliverance from the bondage to sin so we could walk without sin.

  12. God vs. logic

    Logic gains a point.

  13. If one believes in an all-powerful god/God, then one must also accept the fact that this god can cause things to happen without consequence to anyone else.  Who says one must give up something for another to gain it?  However, you will not find your logic compatible with any religion's view of a deity.  In Christianity/Judaism, for example, God is so proud of Job, that he brags to Satan and subsequently allows Satan to kill off Job's offspring, as well as rob him of his health and wealth.  On the other hand, King David, who commits adultery and attempts murder to hide his crime, continues to be blessed and revered through scripture even after this comes to light.

Also, who is to say what a "blessing" is?  One man's wealth today may be his curse tomorrow.  If I break my leg, is it a curse?  If my broken leg means I can't go to Iraq next week and potentially die in combat, is it then a blessing?  It is all how you look at it.

  14. This is a tall order to fill in.

God Love everyone first of all.

If one is following a righteous path and another has strayed away to do his own thing. Why not bless the one who is deserving? And a lessen for the other to see that this has to be God's way. He has once said in Gen. 6 his heart hurt to say he was sorry he ever created man. Do you know why? Well I do.

If he can move mountains he can move people too.

  15. Trust God for He knows just what He is doing.  He is our creator God.
