Trying to update my "My Yahoo" Page?

I am trying to update my yahoo page I like the 3 colomns and I am trying to move some of the modules on the left and right side into the middle section. Right now it is only showing 1 inthe middle and 6 on either side.

I keep reading to just click and drag it. Some reason this isn't working. Where am I clicking? When I click over the module it doesn't pick it up.

I must be clicking in the wrong spot. I have used this feature before with pictures, folders etc, so I know how it normally works, it is just not working in yahoo. I am thinking there is a specific place to click (in the middle, on the bar) etc.

Any help is appreciated.

  1. Place your cursor inside the "title bar" of the specific module you want to move. (That's the narrow bar that has the refresh, edit, and delete icons on the right side.) Once you put your cursor inside the title bar you should see the 4-headed arrow.

Left-click and hold.  At the same time, use your mouse (or your touchpad if you're using a laptop) to drag the module.  You should see the module fade out a bit and a small rectangular box should appear under the 4-headed arrow.

While still holding the left-click, drag the 4-headed arrow and small rectangular box to wherever you want to move it.  If you're moving the module in between two other modules, the very, very narrow space that separates the two modules should change color.  Once it does, release the left-click and the module you've been dragging should now be in it's new location.

The trick to drag and drop is the left-click and hold.  If you release the left-click before the module gets to its new location it just stays in its original spot.
