Trying to upload a photo file from the photos i have on my P.C.?

Trying to sell a item on e-bay but whenever i try to upload a photo of the item ,i keep getting same message of "a picture file couldn't be found" Help thanks.

Probably in the wrong format

Change the format  to jpg in the properties of the photo after right clicking on it.
