Trying to work out how much bus fare would be and where to buy tickets?

I've figured out that I would need to catch the bus from Paddington bus station to All Saints (in the Docklands area) which is a direct route which takes about 1 1/2 hours. But I can't figure out how much it would be for 2 adults to take this route. Or where to buy tickets from? Would I have to go to a ticket booth 1st or do I just hop on the bus and tell the dirver '2 to All Saints please?' And a reverse/retrn journey the next day?

Thank you!

  1. you buy the tickets when you get on the bus,and the same when you get on it to come back

i dont think they would cost much, i was over in England in 1997 and fares are quite cheap

Also find out if you can get there by train as its a lot quicker than going through traffic, there is a train station at Paddington , you can ask there

  2. Hello

A bus fare is £0.90 if you have an Oyster Card, or £2 if you dont, per person. This fare is only for one trip. You can get an Oyster card from Tube Station or from Newsagent shops.

If you dont bother with the Oyster card, then you will have to pay at the machines which are by the Bus stops.

Also maybe quicker if you use the Tube.

  3. In Australia,

    a 2- hour bus ticket is $1.60

    a daily ticket is $2.60

    a weekly ticket is $9.60

    a 10-use ticket is $9.60

    So yeah....
