Tryp Cayo Coco????

This will be my first time going to Cuba. I am thinking about staying at Tryp...

Anyone ever been?? How is it?

Tropical will no doubt post about Tryp Cayo Coco it is her favorite resort in Cuba.  I've stayed next door at Blau Colonial and can assure you it is a very nice area, with a great beach.  A big plus, it's only 15 minutes from the airport so you are there shortly after arrival.  Enjoy yourself, Cuba is wonderful.

Tryp is amazing! That is where I go and I just love it there.

The staff are wonderful, as well as the Animacion Team (Entertainment Staff, including the dancers, etc). They will make your vacation the best. There is always something to do. Or choose to relax and do nothing.

The resort is beautiful...it's an open concept when you walk in at the reception area. And the buildings/rooms are spread out, very Caribbean-style. It's not dark and closed in and you won't get lost walking around.

The lifeguards are excellent and you know you'll be safe in the water.

The beach and water are just gorgeous! The sand is powdery white and the water is 3 shades of turquoise.

The food is excellent and the accommodations are clean and nice. My suggestion though is to book rooms up on 2nd or 3rd floors because 1st floors tend to be damp and musty because of the high humidity.

The evening shows are excellent and the dancers are one of the best. I've been elsewhere and they are just fabulous. Never a dull moment. The entertainers and singers are amazing. They will also be there during the days and you can hang out with them too.

Keep your eyes out for a few people such as Sandra, Firmin, Steve, Yoel, Manuel, Niurka, Marielis, and more.

Yordi and Luisa are excellent and caring waiters/waitresses. Make sure you look out for Yordi, especially in the mornings. He'll have you laughing and he's honest. He'll love talking about his family and he makes sure you are taken care of properly.

Luisa is the same way.

...and another thing, there are flamingos there that you will see....it's one of the few if only resorts where they have them there all the time.
