Tseal to stretch the winning streak to four in the Hit Or Bust Stakes at Swindon on 28th March
The Grade A2 Hit Or Bust Stakes are to be held at Swindon over 480 metres flat on Wednesday, 28th March. Competing tonight are Durrow Fantasy, Tseal, Mine Scholes, Coolykereen Lee, Mercurial Lady and Primo Hotty.
The most credible entry for the race among the lineup is Tseal, Droopys Maldini’s two-year-old blue son out of b***h Sofem. He has raced during the season six times and has bagged five victories from those starts. The only race that he missed was to a decent
second place.
On 24th January, he won a 285 metres race at Swindon by completing the trip in 16.81 seconds and led by one and a half lengths.
After bagging the seasonal debut, Tseal did not hold back on the second start of the season too and won the 285 metres race yet again at Swindon on 7th February by reaching the other end of the wire in 16.81 seconds once more. The only thing different
this time around was the runner up and the lengths by which he was left behind.
Smack A Rooner was the first one to join the winner on the other end of the wire.
On 11th February, Tseal tasted defeat for the first time and scored second in a 480 metres race at Swindon. The race was won by Brizzle Blue who left Tseal behind by four and a half lengths.
The agony of losing the chance to achieve a hat trick, energised Tseal to claim all the three races that followed.
He won a Grade A4 480 metres Flat at Swindon on 2nd March by timing the distance in 29.58 seconds while in lead of a mere ¾ of a length. Farkland Rascal was the first one to join the winner and the 2/1 favourite of the race, Swift Cameron, finished
third.
The second leg of the hat trick got out of the way on 14th March when Tseal raced through the 480 metres in 29.29 seconds. He was soon followed by Petite Falbrav. The 2/1 favourite of the race, Dilton Shaw, ended the race fifth.
The final leg of the hat trick and the most recent victory for Tseal was in a Grade A2 480 metres flat race at Swindon on 19th March. He was done racing in 29.14 seconds.
Today Tseal has the opportunity of extending his winning streak to four.
