  1. you should talk to your doctor, and you should really change your tampons regularly.

  2. Look at the palms of your hands.  Are they normal, or are they red at the edges (especially the fat pad at the bottom of your thumb, and the fat pad under your little finger) ... are your fingers red?  Then take your temperature.  If ANY of these things is abnormal, take the tampon out and put a pad on and go directly to the emergency room (not to your doctor's office) and get checked out. TSS is very serious and you could die if you have it ... better safe than sorry.

  3. It depends on how long you have been on your period. You should atleast start wearing tampons after being on your period for 2 years.

If it's not that then it could be like you said you haven't been changing your tampons as much as you should - 3 hours atleast so it's best that you change it more regularly and because of this change it abit earlier just in case.

    Don't Worry.

  4. No you dont have toxic shock syndrome hun. I can tell you that as a nurse. That involves very severe symptoms such as headache, nausea, high temperature, pains around the abdomen. Make sure you change your tampon whenever you get a break in your day, change it every 4 hours, and make sure you use the right absorbancy. Dont use ones thicker than what you need, Just relax your fine :) Drop me an email if you need anything else. Also, diorrhea is very common during younger women and their periods x

  5. TSS is really severe symptoms.  If you think you may have it then you probably don't.  Do try and change your tampons on time though.

Side note: a lot of women always get diarrhea when they have their period.  That could be normal for you - you'll find out when you have had more periods.

  6. GIve your body a break from tampons this period and use pads.
