  1. They could end up anywhere.  There may be bodies in the sea, in rivers, in lakes, left stranded in trees or on top of buildings.  Literally anywhere the waters were there may be bodies.  This is a huge health risk and the Burmese Junta isn't allowing foreign aid into the country to help clear up the devastation.

  2. Most of them get washed up on a nearby beach or even miles away. Some get eaten by sharks and some are never found.

  3. Anywhere the current takes it, it could be to bottom of the ocean, another nearby beach or to another continent.

  4. maybe damage and breakdown or drifts to sea

  5. The same place as the 193,000+ who died in a cyclone in Bangladesh in 1991. Marine life consumes the mortal remains. Corpses are more buoyant in salt water but there are a lot of creatures who are hungry in that salt water as well. Those who are later washed ashore are consumed by birds like vultures and animals who don't mind feasting on carrion.

Of course, there weren't a lot of Western tourists or super models in Bangladesh at the time, so it didn't get quite the coverage of the Boxing Day earthquake and tsunami.

  6. A lot of them were found at nearby shore which goes to the death tolls and return to their families. Others may be alive somewhere or become the meal for marine life ranging from micro-organism to  whales. (most will be meal for small marine life). These people goes into the MISSING tolls.

  7. the seas take care of the dead....

    bodies, that is....recycled

the soul? depends on the actual truth of the matter, I think.
