Ttc scared help?

Question

i am now ready to ttc after my 2nd m/c.. am excited but really scared at the same time that i'll m/c again and have all those horrible feelings... but my husband and i really want to be blessed with our beautiful children and am preying that our 3rd pregnancy will see us with a healthy preg and baby... anyone been in this situation or know someone who has been thru this.. any tips on what helped them?? looking for support/ someone to listen.. and yes i hve seen my obs for previous m/c and he has informed us that we can try again when ready -- no tests necessary yet since we both healthy and young... it took me a little while to get over this but now i'm just ready to ttc again

There is a website that you can join (for free) that provides a great support system for women who are TTC, currently pregnant, or any other aspect of being a woman. It's called i-am-pregnant.com. It's great! you should check it out because they have forums for exactly what you're going through.

So proud of you guys! It takes strong ppl to get back up and try again. My family has been through the same thing. All I know to advice is to take prenatal vits and make sure you are eating healthy. Get your hubby to walk with you and keep you active but not to much so.

I'm very sorry for your losses.  I have had one miscarriage and one ectopic.  My church has a "Blue Christmas", where we light a candle and talk about loved ones we've lost.  Both my situations were around christmas time, so my DH and I lit a candle for our lost babies.  It helped.  We kept our candles and put them on our entertainment center.   I know someone that planted a tree that they could watch grow, in honor of the baby they lost.

I am trying to conceive again, and I too am worried that something bad can happen, but I want a baby too much NOT to try, you know?

I am sorry for your loses.  I have never been in the same situation, but my cousin has so I thought I would pass some hope along. She and her husband had some trouble along their road to baby bliss. They had tried for a while and along the way suffered two mc. However she got pregnant for a third time in April of 2007 and gave birth to their healthy beautiful baby boy 6 weeks early in December 2007.  What is an even bigger suprise on top of all this is that she went to the doc for some sort of ailment a few months back and discovered that she was pregnant once again and they werent even trying.  Of course they happily welcomed this pregnancy after all their troubles. She is due again in January 2009. So I know that you are feeling mixed emotions and are a little concerned about going through all that again, but take comfort in knowing that acheiving a healthy pregnacy after multiple mc is possible.  Don't lose hope, I hope I helped you or at least encouraged you.
