  1. OK So I had 3 8inch bass tubes in my car (Still got them if you wanna buy them) and they honestly didn't sound that bad. They were the equivent to having one 12inch pioneer sub in a crappy box. I had those subs for a while then decided to upgrade. I went with the Kicker Comps. They are honestly not too expensive. You can get 2 comps for 100 bucks right now and the kicker 300 watt amp is about 200 bucks. You will need a box to put them in which is about 135 for ported or 75 for sealed (go with sealed for cleaner tightier bass and ported for louder bass). You will need an amp install kit which is 50 bucks and RCA's which are 25. If you get a professional install (which I recommend unless this isn't your first install (it prolly is b/c your comparing Kickers to Bass Tubes)) then that is 65. If you have a factory radio then you need an L.O.C. (Line Out Convertor) 30 bucks install for that is 17 bucks. All of this is for a great sound system which totals out to be about 562 plus taxes. If you go with the Bass Tubes then I recommend at least 2 (which honestly you won't be happy with) 8 inchers at 100 bucks a pop. You will also need the L.O.C. 30 install the L.O.C. 17. Amp install Kit 50 RCA's 25, install everything 65 which will bring you to a total of 387 plus taxes.

On a personal note I have everything that I just listed and I can ganranttee that you will not be happy with the tubes and you will want more. Go with the Kicker Comps. They shke my entire car and I drive a Ford 500 (which has a huge azz trunk). Everything that I just mentioned is exact prices that you can expect to pay if you go to Circuit City.  Good Luck man and I hope you make the right choice. 2. bazooka tubes?? come on.  those things would just make u look like an idiot.      If u want good bass and dont want to pay for kickers, go with something in between the two like rockfords

  3. when you say speakers do you mean subs? if so i would get the kickers, they are more powerful, louder and sound better. tubes are only good for small bass enhancement for people with limited knowhow and space.
