Tubes tied and swollen breast and nipples! Am I pregnant??

Question

I had my tubes tied in October 2000 and I am due for my period the 30th of August. My b*****s and nipples have been hurting for the past 3 weeks and some slight cramping on the right side of my abdomen that comes and goes. I took a home pregnancy test and it was negative. Can someone help me please!! Has anyone had this before and was pregnant when they had their tubes tied? I have read that it can happen. I am 32 and had them tied in 2000.

You still ovulate even tho your tubes have been tied and you cannot conceive.  Ovulation symptoms closely resemble pregnancy symptoms and the cramping on your right side could be your body releasing and egg.  Good luck :)

Well my aunt had her tubes tied and three years later she had twins. So yes it is possible, but you also could have an infection causing it.  Just to be sure I would make an appt with a doctor.  If something is unusual and concerns you, you should always get it checked.

Oh Wow! How Crazy. My mother had 4 children and her tubes tied at the age of 24, she had never had them redone nor did she ever get pregnant again and she is now 49. So I am not sure that it is likely, but like you say, it's probly happened to someone. Good Luck...keep us posted!

Sore b*****s and nipples are a common symptom of pms for me.  I don't get it every month but I know a lot of my friends get the same pains too.  I wouldn't stress.  Wait for your period and if it doesn't come, call the doc.  Best of luck to you!

know how you feel!! i had my tubes tied an the samething happens to me . it is possible if they was just tied an not burnt though. i know everytime it happens to me i get to feeling like i'm pregnant.
