Tudor Prince to return into form in the Bettor.Com Scottish Derby Final 2012 at Shawfield on 13th April
The line-up for the Bettor.Com Scottish Derby Final 2012 has Mill Pegasus, Barefoot Allstar, Mill Bling Bling, Tudor Prince, Droopys Cristian and Bowtime Sykes. It will be raced over 480 metres flat at Shawfield on Friday, 13th April. The prize
money for the race is set at £25,000.
The most promising entry for the race is Tudor Prince, Westmead Hawk’s four-year-old black son out of b***h, Old Fold. Out of the nine races that came his way, he won at five different instances with the last three victories qualifying the four-year-old
for a hat trick.
He shot into the season by drilling over 275 metres on 13th January at Doncaster and covering the distance in 17.03 seconds.
Tudor Prince’s seasonal debut was in the Owlerton Bookmakers Standard Duplicated on 24th January at Sheffield over 500 metres. The race was won by Skywalker Louie in 29.53 seconds while Tudor Prince qualified as the 6/4 favourite runner up of
the race.
On 3rd February, Tudor Prince was able to bag his first victory of the season by clocking the 483 metres track distance in 29.69 seconds at Doncaster. He led the runner up, Mags Gamble, by three lengths.
Tudor Prince tossed in another victory on 18th February in the Williamhill.Com Standard – Division A at Newcastle over 480 metres. The 4/7 favourite of the race reached the other end of the wire in 28.81 seconds. The runner up of the race was
Express Jazz and leaping for the third position was Elwick Ghost.
Instead of striking a hat trick by winning the Betdaq Premier League Final Round Leg 3 Standard A on 24th February at Doncaster, Tudor Prince ended up as the 4/6 favourite runner up after taking 30.44 seconds to race.
The race was won by Ministry Millie who timed the distance in 30.32 seconds.
After missing yet another race on 10th March at Newcastle, Tudor Prince lined up three victories that got him the hat trick on 3rd April.
He won the William Hill Supporting Racing Post TV Stakes on 17th March at Newcastle over 480 metres after completing the trip in 29.11 seconds. The 4/5 favourite led the runner up of the race, Consistency, by 2 ¾ lengths.
He then won the Bettor.Com Scottish Derby 1st Round Heat 2 on 31st March at Shawfield over 480 metres after settling the race in 29.10 seconds.
He claimed the third straight victory on 3rd April by timing the 480 metres distance in 29.19 seconds in the Bettor.Com Scottish Derby 2012 2nd Round Heat 3 at Shawfield.
Missing the most recent start will prompt him to win the race tonight.
