Since you are so worried about it...they should!  If you are taking drugs you need to stop and if you are not, then don't be worried about it.  They can't do anything if they don't find any.

You know what?  Whatever you did take may have caused you to pass out. You need to come clean with your mom and she will probably still bring you to the doctor because she loves you and will want to be sure it's out of your system and you are safe.  And next time, pass on that ****.  Nothing is worth the road that takes you down.

no one can say for sure. if they have reason to suspect you are or have been taking drugs they might try to drug test you, although they do have to inform you before-hand. technically they can't take legal action unless you give consent for a test, but some states will see it as cause to investigate further. although be aware that its a hospitals prerogative to drug test newborns and they don't have to inform you of that necessarily. its just safer not to do drugs while pregnant...

Don't understand why she would take you to the hospital, unless you do not have health insurance and a physician. Depending on your current condition, the hospital probably will run a limited number of blood and urine test. Unless they suspect drugs, they probably will not run the tests (except for alcohol, drug test are ran on urine). Drug test are expensive, so if you do not have any critial medical symtoms, they probably will not run them, especially if there is no insurance. It is just the facts of life. Healthcare and ER visits are paid by someone, if not you or the insurance, tax payers.
