Tuftys Dilemma eyes the prize in the The Grade OR Stadium Bookmakers Super Stayers Trophy – Heat 2
The Grade OR Stadium Bookmakers Super Stayers Trophy – Heat 2 will have some of the toughest runners competing at Nottingham on 12th March, 2012.
The 6 hounds, Fabulous Fleur, Dromana Becky, Sliotar, Tuftys Dilemma, Bringthemhome and Romeo Causeway will be racing over a distance of 730 metres for £125.
Daughter of Droopys Rhys, out of Harrys Princess, Tuftys Dilemma has a huge advantage racing on this track. She has been racing on this track for a major duration in her career, and has acquired many placed finishes here.
Under the training of L. Tuffin, she finished last in her most recent race. She had a clear run, but lacked pace to keep up with the competition in the Grade A6 500m flat race, which took place at Nottingham on 9th March, 2012.
The first place was acquired by race favourite, Salacres Gemma, who finished in 31.24 seconds where as Tuftys Dilemma, finished in 31.62 seconds.
This is a minor setback and it is nothing that she cannot recover from. She finished in third place in a race before that, which took place on 3rd March, 2012, at the same track. The race winner was, Fabulous Kayla.
Bringthemhome, trained by T. Munslow, also enjoys the same advantage as Tuftys Dilemma, because he too has run on this track many times in his career.
The son of Balintore Brave, out of Ahavoher Rachel, triumphed and lived up to the expectations of the bookmakers as the race favourite defeated, Imperial Boy, by a short-head in 42.44 seconds in the Grade OR Stadium Bookmakers Stayers Trophy which covered
680 metres at Nottingham on 27th February, 2012
The bookmakers have confidence in his ability to secure the same place, despite his fourth place finish in his most recent race, in the A1 http://www.betfred.com/Stakes at Nottingham on 5th March, 2012. He finished
in 31.25 seconds whereas race favourite Hold On Mate finished in 30.49 seconds.
Romeo Causeway is another tough competitor, who will stand in the way of the top contenders.
The son of College Causeway, out of b***h Fabulous Evening, has been doing consistently well. He finished as a runner-up thrice in his last four races, much to the satisfaction of his trainer, L. Tuffin.
He entered the Grade OR Ladbrokes Mobile Super Stayers with the odds of 4 to 1, but was defeated by race favourite, Wise Totty, by a short-head over a distance of 737 metres, which was held at Swindon on 8th March, 2012.
He delivered the same performance at Nottingham, as he finished as a runner-up in the Grade A1 500m flat race, defeated by Firecracker Jack. The race favourite defeated the runner-up by 1 ¾ lengths.
The bettors will be keeping a keen eye on Bringthemhome and Tuftys Dilemma. The odds are stacking up in their favour, and they are expected to excel. If either of these hounds finished in first or second place, the third place is likely to be acquired by
Romeo Causeway.
