Tug boat manufacturers?

Who are the world's biggest tug boat manufacturers? I need the information for an upcoming port project. I also need the technical specifications. Which is the best website for this info?

I noticed you were not getting much response.  There is a large and active Tug boat community, but the question asked is who .....builds Tugs.  IN the U.S. there are only a couple company's that build only Tug boats.  In fact most are built by smaller companies one or two at a time.  At the moment more are being built in the far east and Asia.   However, if you go looking say in Louisiana or Alabama you'll find them being built by little backwater outdoor boat builders.  I have an idea that you might want to pursue, to get the data you need.  There is two components that everyone of these boats need.  The first is large marine diesel engine and the other is large, low pitch propellers. The number of manufacturers of these components should be easier to contact than the builders.  I Googled tug boat builders and got a ton of information but I'd bet one call to say Cummings  would  get you moving.

Many commercial marine companies build their own.  They could be considered the biggest builders at least in the US.  They all list vessel technical specifications on their individual websites.

i dont know if your talking about the size of the tug boat or the size of the firm that builds them. try marinette marine up in norther wisconsin. they build tug boats and other very large sea vessels.
