Tuibama chasing hat-trick in Scottish Racing Handicap
Tuibama will be looking to record a hat-trick of victories in the sport, by winning the Scottish Racing Handicap at Musselburgh in England on Tuesday, July 24, 2012. He will have to outperform 13 other runners in order to claim the cash prize of £1,941.
The class-6 event will test the speed of all participants, as they will have to cover an overall distance of 5 furlongs. The action will begin at 15:00 GMT and the spectators will be looking forward to it. Moreover, the going will be good, which suggests
that the weather has been good for racing.
Although there are some good runners roaring to go against each other, the best chances of victory appear to be with Tuibama. He is carrying an excellent momentum right now and it will be difficult for his competitors to match his speed. He has been given
a general starting price of 4 to 1 by the bookies and the punters will also be encouraged to risk money on him.
The three-year-old gelding has taken part in a dozen events, which shows that he has been around for some time now. He debuted in August 2011 and took part in just three races that year. His performances in the first couple of events were pretty much ordinary
and he disappointed his team.
However, the Tracy Waggott’s trainee ended his debut season on a positive note, finishing third in the final race that year. He was priced 100 to 30 back then and was not expected to be fighting at the front. He proved his critics wrong though and finished
in a respectable position.
Things did not go well for the young runner in the 2012 season, as he struggled throughout the first half of the season. He finally broke the shackles, winning his previous two races. This would have given him immense confidence and his fans will also be
hoping for consistent results from now onwards.
Tuibama’s most recent victory was more impressive compared to the first one, as he won by a better margin last time around. His partner in both those events was Franny Norton and the successful pair will once again be seen in action together at Musselburgh.
