Tullna Puma tipped to win the Coral.co.uk Maiden
Tullna Puma has the best chances of winning the Coral.co.uk Maiden at Hove in England on Thursday, March 29, 2012. The triumphant greyhound will walk away with a cash prize of £150.
The Grade OR race is scheduled to start at 20:02 GMT and the distance to cover for the runners is 515 metres. It will really test the stamina of all participants, whose names are: Tullna Puma, Airforce Newyork, Droopys Paige, Brinkleys Ace, Cals Goinghome
and Moondarra Magic.
Although speed is very important in any form of racing, stamina also counts in the longer distance races. This is why the bookies have rated Tullna Puma as the favourite to win today’s race, as he likes running in such events.
D. Knight’s trainee has been in spectacular form over the past few months, thus the punters will be placing quite a few bets in his favour. He has managed to win his previous two races, which shows that he is in terrific momentum at the moment and it will
be hard to stop him.
However, things will be a touch difficult in this grade for Tullna Puma, who will be chasing a hat-trick of victories at Hove. He has the tools to deliver a solid result once again, but will have to be at his absolute best.
The black dog is the son of Westmead Hawk out of Greenwell Puma and was born in December 2009.
On the other hand, Airforce Newyork will also be the one to watch out for, as he has been in good form in recent times. He has been setting some very good trial times at different venues, but does not seem to be in racing practice at the moment.
R. Holloway’s trainee has been rated highly by the bookies, thus the bettors will be risking some money in his favour today. He is the son of Westmead Hawk out of Wee Amy and was born in October 2009.
Other than the top two favourites, Droopys Paige will also be expected to make a solid impression today. She has been producing some consistent results recently and has a good chance of continuing such momentum.
Although the top three look evenly matched at the moment, Tullna Puma is in full flow and will make life hard for his rivals.
