Tullymurry Levi has bright chances in Keeper Tom Puppy Trophy - Div B at Coventry
It will be very difficult to stop Tullymurry Levi from bagging the first prize in the Keeper Tom Puppy Trophy - Div B, taking place at Coventry on Sunday, July 29th. Despite the fact that G. Oswald’s trainee is facing a strong opposition, one
should not overlook the rhythm he is currently in.
The black dog is coming to this venue after doing plenty of good work at Sunderland. After striking a remarkable hat-trick, he lost his direction for a while, when ending up third in a 450 metres race at the start of this month.
He was badly crowded at the second bend and as a result, it was almost impossible for him to do anything special. An unlucky ride did not shake his confidence, as he demonstrated a fine performance on July 12th.
Despite getting crowded early on, the son of Royal Impact managed to lead at the second bend. He retained his advantage till the end, seizing the top rank by a couple of lengths.
After so many good acts, the juvenile is pumped up with confidence, and will be very hard to beat tonight. Among his rivals are: Woodys Alabama, Bursary Boy, Aghaburren Tom, Mademoiselle and Westmead Meteor.
The 485 metres open race carries a cash prize of £200, which will go straight into pocket of the ultimate champion. The officials at Coventry are due to start the proceedings at 19:09 GMT.
Westmead Meteor, who will start the race from the first trap, does not have a good chance tonight. The black dog is in very poor form these days, and needs something extra special to unchain the shackles.
Mademoiselle will look to replicate what he did at Nottingham earlier this month. The brindle b***h will certainly be a dangerous player in today’s race.
Aghaburren Tom knows how to win an open race, but it is hard to trust him after a terrible defeat he suffered lately. Woodys Alabama is a powerful hound, but does not win consistently. On the other hand, Bursary Boy’s chances are slim.
It will be good to stick with Tullymurry Levi, who is in tremendous form these days. Woodys Alabama can make things a bit messy for him. Good luck to all the runners.
