Yuvraj Singh, who is currently undergoing treatment for a rare germ cell tumour known as mediastinal seminoma, tweeted today that the doctor had given him some “very good news”, assuring him that the tumour was almost cured.

The tumour (which has a 95 percent cure rate) was detected last October, and the flamboyant batsman has been undergoing treatment at the Cancer Research Institute in Boston, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Usa-c759, since January this year. The news is that Yuvi’s chemotherapy is going smoothly
so far, and beginning to yield positive results, will undoubtedly make many of his fans and well-wishers happy.
