Question:

Tumour or Lymphoma - Lump in neck behind ear? Help please?

I move my fingers up my jaw, reach where my jaw and ear join move across and slightly below where my skull begins to curve is a hard lump about an inch long and wide. It doesn't move and is rock hard. It's not the same on the other side, on the other side it seems to be flatter or something. This is happening on the right side of my neck. It goes down to almost the bottom of my jaw. Is this muscle or something? It's driving me crazy. I just noticed it a few hours ago but I can't stop worrying. Should I worry? The muscle in my neck, the long pipe-like one on the right side seems to run into it or something? I'm not sure though so I can't say if it does for certain. I'm 15, male.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

  1. thats part of ur skull

  2. That looks like a picture from Grey's Anatomy.  Try checking out the site for the lymphatic system.

Lymphomas generally show up by enlargement of the lymph nodes at the back of the neck, not the front, and there are a number of other symptoms which go along with said enlargement.

    In short, no.
