Tuner works, not CD iPod or Aux?

Just installed a new Sony CDX-G420IP in my 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I get sound output when playing the tuner, but not when I play any of the other modes -- CD, iPod, or Aux. All three other modes appear to be working, as it displays song titles and equalizer graph stuff. I did not plug anything into the audio out RCA jacks -- I only wired into the wires that were in the vehicle before.

Your Jeep uses a factory amplifier which needs a turn on voltade from your radio to operate. You may have used the solid blue power antenna wire from your radio to trigger on the amp instead of the blue with white stripe remote power wire. The power antenna wire only supplies voltage when the tuner is selected.
