Turaco help?

Hi, i've got 2 white - crested turaco's a c**k and a hen, they aren't related and live in a fairly large aviary outside i was wondering, is there anyway i can encourage the female to incubate her eggs because she is laying eggs but known of them are hatching and she isn't incubating/sitting on them thanks for the help

  1. You have three options:

    1.  You can remove the eggs and hand raise them.

    2. You can try to get the female to incubate the eggs

    3. You can get a "foster" bird if you can't get the mother to take care of the eggs.

    To try to get the female to incubate, get a nest/nest box for her.  See if she checks it out.  Supply them with nesting materials.  She should begin to lay eggs and stay in there.
