Question:

Turbo for 240sx - KA24DE?

Looking for a relatively small turbo to get my engine to bout 200-210 horsepower, with all stock internals. Anyone have any recommendations?

  1. Just copy a SR set up with your own manifold and tune. 250hp. Done.

  3. get a turbo from the 1st or 2nd gen eclipse..and modify it to your motor...

  4. though mitsubishi turbos are good, i would not reccomend them with your KA, simply just that it will be hard for you to find an exhaust manifold for it, and even if you do fabbing a downpipe and various otherthings is just a waste of money.

    A LOT of the KA guys go with a t2 flanged exhaust manifold so that you can use the t25 or the t28 for the various SR20DET motors, they're a bit smaller and spool real nicely, keep in mind this would be a great option since these turbos are all over the place, and if you ever decide to upgrade, your options will be endless with the GT series of garret turbochargers. If you look around for t2 flanged exhaust manifolds, you can find them pretty much everywhere.
