Turkiye International 2012: Dmytro Zavadsky beats Adrian Dziolko to claim Men’s Singles title
Ukraine’s impressive player Dmytro Zavadsky showed a great performance throughout the tournament and maintained it in the Men’s Singles final against Poland’s Adrian Dziolko to claim Men’s Singles title at Turkiye International 2012 in Turkey, on Saturday,
December 22.
The in-form Dmytro, who was seeded at the top in Men’s Singles category in the championship, played to his maximum potential and remained successful in winning the title match in 40 minutes.
Ukrainian shuttler stayed confident throughout the tournament and he continued putting up smashing show in the final battle and easily ended it up in straight games with reasonable margin on the score board.
On the contrary, the lower ranked Adrian played impressive badminton in all of his matches in the championship and he also played top quality badminton in the final match as well. But he could not get better off his higher ranked challenger in the ending
points and lost the match with a close margin.
In the starting game, the impressive Dmytro showed a spectacular show in the arena as he executed his powerful strokes with dictating control from opening points.
However the Polish man was also at his best as he played with impressive speed and did not allow his Ukrainian rival to set up a comfortable lead until the end points of opening half.
After the one-minute interval in the opening set, both players continued showing up their brilliance and remained close until the ending points.
At this stage, it was Dmytro who did not lose his focus and also played with aggression that enabled him to score the finishing points and he clinched the set with a close 21-19 total on the board.
In the second game, the situation remained the same when both participants put up staggering show of top class badminton and remained close until the end of opening half.
After the break, they tried their best to take charge of rallies but none of them could make it happen until the ending points of the second game.
At this crucial stage, it was the Ukrainian shuttler who controlled the pace again and remained successful in winning the set with a tight margin of 21-19.
Dmytro emerged as the crown winner at Turkiye International as he finished off the final battle against Adrian in straight games with a thrilling 21-19 and 21-19 score on the board.
