  1. this is causing a Major problem in Germany

the reason so often is the women a lot of Turks (women) have been killed by family member for getting involved with Germans

on the other side Turk men like to look at German women as something to practice on

they isolate themselves a lot  and that also causes problems

  2. Well, the problem is that the German government never actually planned for them to stay permanently and bring their families over. It started out (back in the 50's! Just explaining the background here!) as just a program to bring in work force, and to have the people (back than it was mostly Italian or Greek guys, though) be there for a year or maybe two, and than have them go back again. Unfortunately, the laws were not very explicit, and, as it always goes when you invite people to another surrounding, they change. They fall in love, they get used to the surroundings, in short: they adapt. When Italy and Greece grew (economiclly) better, a lot of those people did go back, leaving Germany with not enough work force one again, which than lead to Turkish people coming, and that went well for a long time, too. The (older) "kids" (I'm talking about people about 25-35 years old) of that generation are mostly well integrated, can speak German well, they have their own religions and customs, but they also respect German laws and customs, and they mostly have a good job and studied, having taken full advantage of what Germany offered them. But they also say that even their younger siblings now can't really integrate that well into German society because now there are too many Turkish people, and kids don't have to have German friends or go into German sport clubs to have something to do. They have turkish supermarkets, they have Moshees, they have their parts of town...

Integration worked for a long time, until there were too many of them who wanted to stay to themselves. Back when they couldn't help but interact with German culture... Plus, now the fundamentalists who are being frowned on in Turkey are now coming to Germany because here we have freedom of religion, so that also creates a problem. They don't want to integrate at all. They come here because they think nobody will look into what they do, and than they are here and teachers tell them their daughters have to attend physical education lessons, and yes, they will learn how to swim during that, and yes, the boys of the class will also attend, and the boys will also be there when they go on a class trip, and they'll live in the same house, too! And they are getting frowned on when the husband and wife go shopping, and the husband walks out in front, and the wife goes three steps behind him, carrying all the heavy grocery bags, while he is carrying nothing but his bead line, and stops to chat with friends, while she isn't aloud to put the bags down.

But even second- and third-generation Turkish people frown on them for that, which leads to anger and frustration on the "newcomers", and so I guess it is a devils circle. Plus, the German government and the German people still feel a little funny putting their foot down and saying: "We are in Germany, we do it the German way!", because they still fear the united world community will point their fingers and say: SEE? You haven't learned anything from what happened 73 years ago! Racists!" So that whole subject is just loaded with strings to trip on! It's not that we hate Turks, it's just... I know wonderful turks! Honestly. But it's like when you have a bowl full of sweet, ripe cherries, and the first you eat has a worm in it - you won't be so keen on having the rest, would you? Stupid human nature.

  3. well, are the Germans holding you by force, I don't think so......you are free to leave, aren't you.....ok....go home please!!

  4. Well, the problem is not that Germans hate Turkish people, in my opinion they are l*****g their a** and they try to integrate them like idiots. I would have given up already, the problem is that many turisk people keep on holding on to their traditions and THEY DONT WANT to be integrated. Some did, but many did not care. Why dont you ask why turkish people hate germans so much, even know they offer them all the opportunities over here? Did u watch this video of an 70 year old that got beat up by a turkish and a greek guy. A lot of young turkish people think that they are so much gangsta and stuff, i hate that. Last time I watched TV, it was about a young group of Turkish guys, guess what they said: "We just want respect, we want respect from our teachers and our friends." And the reporter asked: "And do you respect anybody?" And they said: "Yes, I respect my family and my friends (everybody turkish) but I dont respect these f***** German people" Nice, I think we should kick eveyone like that out!

  5. I am German and I've lived pretty much all my life in Germany, however I live in the states now...anyway, that is true, there are many turks in Germany and they are not very welcomed by Germans....cuz they are very ghetto, poor and very rude (mainly the younger ones 14-26). They create lots of problems and are very violent. Nothing against Mexicans, but they are sort of like the mexicans over here in america.

  6. I think a lot of it is that many Germans see the Turks like the Americans see the Mexicans.  They come to their country and live off of the government.  As true or untrue as this may be.

  7. Their thing is they don't like to speak German nor do they like to integrate into the German Lifestyle .Some Turks are living since 20 y in Germany and can't speak German .

We have a lot off of different foreigners in Germany (example Italians ,French , Dutch ect)and all of them mix up after a while with us Germans . Only the Turks and the Arabs prefer to stay by them self and bringing more and more of their family members into the country . If you visit some parts in German Citys you think you are in an islamic country and that p***** people off. Because in the end it is still Germany .

Just look at Akmed's comment and you know what I mean.

FrackledJJ , Great answer! I wish i could give you 10 thumbs up.

  8. They are tourist OK !

  9. Well, it was kinda rude to use the word 'dumb' in your question, but anyway...

I definitely thought there is fairly open racism against Turks in Germany.   There is a bit a of a smug superiority thing going on...

I think the same thing I think everytime I hear people complaining about immigrants... why are you taking your anger out on them?

If you're upset about it, take it to your government!  Direct your anger at the government, don't take it out on innocent people.

  10. I doubt you met many Germans yet. I am German, I've lived here almost all of my life and I don't hate anybody, neither do any of my friends or anybody else I personally know.

I am not ignorant, I know that many Germany have a problem with "foreigners", no matter if they are Turks, Russian, Polish or even legally German by now, too many, I know.

But please keep in mind that the majority of Germans does not hate Turks.

I have lived in Southern California for a while, and I met quite a few people hating "the Mexicans" or "the Asians".

I believe racism is an international problem.

  11. Having lived in Munich for 5 years, many of my friends are Turks so I can't really understand your question....

    But this daughter/sister/cousin-killing-

    just-by-reason-of-honor- thing is absolutely horrible

    and abject !!!!

  12. Because the Turks are taking all of the jobs in Germany !!!And they are quite rude and Germany is a beautiful country but with them in it it seems not, they think they can call themselves Germans...ha but they can't not!!!!
