Turn Signal Flasher 1998 Malibu / Cutlass ???

Question

How do you get to the turn signal flasher ?? The guy at Autozone said in the fuse box. That use to be the common place for them , however not anymore. I have looked just about everywhere for it and can't find it. Please help.

they Do make them hard to find. I dont know about your car, but if I was in your situation, I would try to follow the headlight wires to see if it led me to it

The flasher is often found below the steering column. You'll probably have to put your head down there and look up into the back part of the dash near the column. If it's still clicking when you signal (fast flash) you can turn on the signal and listen for the clicking sound. It comes directly from the flasher. Be sure to check the relay as well. Your flasher switch is usually separate and is probably fine.

The flasher is integral to the hazard light switch.Just get a new hazard light switch,pop it out of dashboard,put a new one in.HTH.
