Turn of the century seashore songs for kindergarteners?

I teach kindergarten and our graduation program is 'ocean/beach' themed. We must do 3 songs/poems. I am looking for an old-time sorta barbershop quartet song or maybe a poem/fingerplay about going to the beach or shore or boardwalk that Kindergarteners would be able to perform. Thank you!

  1. How about:

A sailor went to sea, sea, sea

To see what he could see, see, see

But all that he could see, see, see

was the bottom of the deep blue sea, sea sea

Also, on one of the Music Together CD's, there is a pretty song derived from the toungue twister She sells sea shells by the sea shore.  You can probably find it on their website musictogether.com.

  2. "My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean"

My Bonnie lies over the ocean,

My Bonnie lies over the sea,

My Bonnie lies over the ocean,

Oh bring back my Bonnie to me.

    On bring back,

    Oh bring back ,

Oh bring back my Bonnie to me, to me.

    On bring back,

    Oh bring back ,

Oh bring back my Bonnie to me.

  3. How about By The Sea?  It may be a little longer than you were looking for, but the repetition would appeal to kindergartners.  You could leave out several verses to make it fit better:

By the sea, by the sea

    By the beautiful sea,

You and me, you and me

    Oh, how happy we'll be.

    Chorus:

I'd love to be beside your side

    Beside the sea,

    Beside the seaside,

    By the beautiful sea.
