Turn off ice maker

there is no switch and no wire on side of box it as a sixth sense program do i turn it off from the display on front of freezer or when i remove ice box there is a plastic arm to the right of the ice try , you have come this far with me the winning line is near the modle no is whirlpool 20rud3j its 2 weeks old come on lets get it your a top fixer many thanks mr guru sean ps front panel says ice and water mode can it be turned of from there
