Turn off the governor on my international tractor trailer?

is there a code sequence that i can use with my ignitiion key on my tractor to turn off the speed governor which is set at 65?

65 is fast enough, but if you must, take it to the dealer, if you work for someone else they will just change it back when you go in for service

The ECM parameters can be reset using the proper electronic tool and knowing the proper code to gain access.

Keep in mind if this is a company vehicle,  you can be canned for changing the settings.    Usually considered as a violation of company policy and tampering with company property.

If this is your truck,  there is nothing to stop you from having the top speed changed by a dealer or  authorized shop.    I can promise you the mpg will most likely drop and higher speeds increase tire heat,  and blow-outs.

if its electronic engine, the the only way to increase your speed is to plug into the engine with a computer and program the engine to go faster.  Of course the only place to get it done is at the dealer (surprise!)
