Turn signalas aren't working (at all)?

Question

the turn signals on my 01 impala don't work at all. or the emergency light. when i flick the switch, nothing happens. the last time it did i just turned the car off and when i turned it back on they were working properly . but they haven't been working since wed morning. can anybody help me plz?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Check the flasher + fuse.

There's a flasher unit located under the dash. It cost $2 new and takes two minutes to replace.

Check the turn signal relay and/or the fuse in the fuse block.  Also in some cars, when one bulb quits working, they all quit.  Because its a closed circuit.  All looped together.  So i would suggest checking the bulbs as well.  If all those things check out fine, then you could have a more troublesome problem, like a loose ground or a pinched/bad wire in the steering column.  Hope this helps and answers your question.

look in fuse box for turn signal plug in...replace it

Check the fuses, then the flasher itself.

Unlikely that all bulbs go at same time.
