  1. If you 'serve' for one weekend each month, what does that do to your family? Nothing.

    Look, the Navy's recruitment quotas change every month.

    Get your local recruiter's phone number, and call him once a month to ask if his numbers are good.

    Also get the phone numbers of other town's recruiters, call them also. Once each month call them each to see if their quota is filled.

    December is a good time of year for seeing low quotas.

    If you want in, then call five recruiters each month.

    1. Your local recruiter;

    2. The recruiter 100 miles North of your town.

    3. The recruiter 100 miles East of your town.

    4. The recruiter 100 miles South of your town.

    5. The recruiter 100 miles West of your town.

    In a few months you will be in the Navy, making the bug bucks.

    :)

  2. Hi. Reserves is good, for the time you serve and your contract, that's how the benefits work not only the weekends.

    How long do they call you? Well whenever they need you, but highly unlikely, unless you request it.

    As far as basic it's about the same and A school depends on the rating (job) you select.

    I recommend going to http://www.mynavyonline.com im KJC88 there, for more information and accurate Navy info from retired and active and reserve Navy sailors!

    Go Navy!

    Good luck!
